Hey Redspear! Hmmm... The only change between 0.5.5 and 0.5.6 was that I chaged the locations of the textures folder. If you find the name of that other oxp then I'd be happy to investigate (could it be Norby's 'Far Planets' :?: ...) It should work in 1.79 although I haven't tested it in the very la...

I just noticed that since 0.5.6., my "Additional Planets" seem to be gone. Hadn't visited one yet, but with 0.5.5. they showed up via another oxp that shows the in-system planets via the F4 screen in stations (forgot the name). They were recognizable due to the crazy distances they had to everything...

but for any sort of release to the community, the licensing issue is in the way here too. As I have no intention of upsetting people who have greatly contributed to this game and its oxps, this means that this option, for example, won't happen, as I am not wading into some gigantic debate with 300+...

Licensing is one of those thorny issues which we are still, to some extent, getting to grips with when it comes to OXPs.. witness the recent discussion over "dead-man" clauses , for instance.. To my knowledge, nobody has yet compiled such a list, as the uses for same would appear to be rather limit...

This is a very small OXP which overrides the roles defined by a replacement shipset to bring them back to the Oolite 1.79 default roles. So you can now use your favourite replacement shipset from an older version and get to try out the full effects of the new NPC ecosystem at the same time. It does...

Just one question, are these two (?) shipsets (I found the first download post a tad confusing) compatible with other shipsets, or are these exclusively replacement shipsets? I saw in the folders that they have the original shipkeys, no idea how this plays with like_shipped stuff of other ship packs...

So ... I am testing the trunk of 30-01 now ... how do I switch the status screen ship on?

And, trunk generally seems to be very slow when loading the game and at all inbetween stages - such as leaving station, hyperjumping - but quite stable. Is that slowness to be expected for some reason?

Um. I would suggest, at a minimum, waiting a week and then considering whether this is a very good idea. LittleBear, long time no see. Really, better don't. I completely agree with Jens. Some idiot might be ripe to think it's a bomb if they discover the outline and claim self-defence after shooting...
