Re: 3D F6 chart screen?

When I finally finish of my 3D map app: http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p176/maaarcooose/b4760ec3-7cae-48ad-9713-d54d10a9793b_zpsf6746cd0.png I simply used the government type number * 3 to make my z position. Not the best thing in the world but it seems to give a nice spread. I'm gonna try and g...

[TEASER] - Galactus. OOlite/Elite 3D Mapping Tool

As usual, my continued absence from these forums is usually due to RL or some OOlite related work. So as a teaser, here is my WIP screenshot of Galactus v0.1, my new replacement fro OOliteinfo3D which suffered from the slowness of Vpython. http://i128.photobucket.com/albums/p176/maaarcooose/ScreenSh...

Re: Inside Straight

Finally got round to reading it.

Fantastic piece.

As I started reading I kept asking myself how you would follow coyote but this is superb.

I can already see the lines of plot flowing out of this to the next.

Awesome job and I look forward to the next.

Re: Inside Straight

I must be psychic.

The first time I come to the forum for ages and you've released a new one. About 1 hour after posting.

Downloading now and knowing me, will be finished reading tomorrow.

Looking forward to it.

Re: The Curse Of The Crimson Koala

Thanks everyone. Trying my damnedest to write some more but time constraints are pulling me in 10 directions at once. I was thinking more like Sam Spade is space hence the Maltese Falcon samples in the theme tune. Just for some background on the name in case anyone is interested. My sons name is Max...

The Curse Of The Crimson Koala

I've been a little absent recently due to trying to get my life in order. I'm currentlly going through what I like to call 'The Purge' in which I am clearing out everything useless of a material, emotional and metaphysical nature from my life. The result has left me with little writing time. That an...

I can now hear 12 drunken spacers singing at the tops of their lungs coupled with the sound of breaking glass.

Does this mean you could effectively have a targeting assist crosshair so it would change colour when you are lined up with your target?

Re: Your backstory

I thought nothing would ever drag me away from my beloved MK3 Cobbie. Likewise.. but the Pitviper just feels so "right".. the perfect killing machine. I've been meaning to ask.. did you ever make a custom paint-job for yours? Not yet. I got sidetracked by building a ship, writing software...

Re: Your backstory

I see you became hooked on the Pitviper too.. :D Completely hooked. Just something about it that presses all the right buttons. Got 3 sections (3 is my lucky number), looks like you could gouge an eye out with it and makes you feel like a badass when you fly it. What's not to love and I thought not...

Re: Your backstory

I finally wrote up my highly derivative backstory.

It will be more in-depth at some point but this is what I think about when I;m blasting through the stars.
