That's why I think game saving would be better done at witchspace jumps, rather than while docked at a station. Then there is not the problem of the reloaded game not re-creating the entire system as it was before, and only major changes like the sun going nova or stations being destroyed need to b...

Oolite and Elite:Dangerous are different enough to survive side by side indefinitely. E:D is MMORPG, newest graphics engine, its concepts sound quite complicated and whatnot. I will sure play it, am a backer, but it will not take my interest in Oolite away. Oolite is solo, graphics are not its adver...

Just only discovered this now.
Hope this stays in development - what an ingenious idea, possible for newbies to just look up stuff on the F4 screen without having to leave the game - wish I had had that six years ago!

Just wanted to report that the Ship Storage Helper oxp still repeatably produces a memory overrun on my system, OS Windows 7 64bit, use the semi-stable 1.77 Oolite.

Since I found that out, this is the oxp of the two I am using. An AI does my trading ... I find that neatspara wrote:TradingAssistant on the other hand also collects data, but acts more like an advisor or assistant, giving player hints about trading. And in extreme, does the trading for you.
