It looks like the code is already taking good care of this. The code takes care of it, indeed, in the function " checkShadersSupported " that is defined and used in " OOOpenGLExtensionManager.m " file. Note You will notice an " #if OOLITE_WINDOWS " section, within the same function. In Windows envi...

Davcefai, you can just click here to download the compressed OXP folder. Unzip it in your " Addons " folder and launch Oolite. Press 'N' to dismiss the option to load a saved game, and watch the various space crafts and things zooming in and out on your screen. Wait until the " Thargoid Warship " ap...

The altitude bar never turns red (w/ solution)

When the altitude bar goes under 75%, it turns yellow and stays yellow till crash. My source code is v1.71 (built 1537). To fix this alter the drawAltitudeBar method in HeadUpDisplay.m file from // draw altitude bar if (alt < .75) GLColorWithOverallAlpha(yellow_color, overallAlpha); else if (alt < ....

OpenGL shader operations issues.

Trying to build Oolite 1.71 (1537) on my PC (Ubuntu Desktop 64bit, Intel Dual Core, nVidia 8600GT), burning the midnight oil with Another_Commander , he didn't like the fact that OpenGL function warnings were being generated. Furthermore, I didn't like the fact that my Oolite did not display the sha...

Hi, TGHC. I will look into it. Just to clarify, when I use the term AMD64, I am referring to the Ubuntu AMD64 which is the linux distro for both AMD and Intel CPU's that are 64bit. I was planning to contribute for the Intel part since I have a 64bit Intel Dual Core. Does this post refer to AMD CPU o...

Instructions on how to build for AMD64 debian have already been posted, by user Whisht , in this BB and can be found here . Ahoy, Cmdr. Maegil and thank you for your warm welcome. I'll first start looking into packaging Oolite. In the meantime, however, I would really appreciate the acquaintance of other amd64 maintainers (if any), so as not to reinvent the wheel. I hope that this post is a good point to start. BTW, Q-mi...

Since this is an old post, I was wondering if there is still a need for a maintainer for the amd64 stable version.
I am willing to help on that matter.
