Re: Problem Povray Planets

Okay, my final on this- Wildeblood - If you have a problem with me or my oxp, message me directly. Far more polite than bitching about it publically without giving me the opportunity to change the code. Since that was my first OXP ever, I'm not a professional or even amateur programmer, and I had ne...

Re: Torus drive bogosity compromise

Since it can obviously be implemented easily in an OXP, I'd say leave the core game unaltered. If you wish to have it in your game universe, load the OXP. Others may want to keep theirs closer to the original Elite.

Re: Problem Povray Planets

Submersible is correct, it's not what I had in mind, but so long as the altered version is not distributed - I'm good with it. API is supplied specifically to allow other OXP's to control the behavior of DH-S. It's not hard to figure out from the code, but I really should get around to get around to...

Re: Improving game logging

For release builds, I think 2 is fine. But for the development builds, I can see the merit.

Re: Problem Povray Planets

I have mentioned it before, and have tried not to for a long time... But... You should look at the code behind DH-Systems. A lot of what has been discussed in this thread was addressed in there. And before someone says that gas giants as mains were too prevenlent, I will again state that is only bec...

In Windowed Mode, yes. But full screen, no. Least not that I have been able to trigger.

Re: [UPDATED 12/8/12]-Deep Horizon Industries - Navigation B

I couldn't get it to tumble after flying back it's origin point, so I cheated and just told the AI to re-tumble every 5 seconds when idle. It worked, but the side effect is what you see now. Personally, I kinda liked it, as it gave the impression it was actually tracking ships, doing work, etc. If s...

Re: [RELEASE] - Deep Horizon Industries - Navigation Buoy

Wait for me to publish 1.1 in the next few days when I get over my busy schedule and take the time to zip and upload. :P You'll also get a nice AI for it that will have it pilot itself back to it's proper position if it gets bumped too far out of place.

Re: Missing CCL details and the save-game file.

At the time DH-Systems was written, any details such as those for the sun were written to the save-game and there was not a way for me to have it erase them. If I ever go back and finish DH-Systems 2, I will leverage the changes in trunk that would allow me to make the changes without necessarily po...

Re: [RELEASE] Destination ETA

Just an FYI, Wildeblood- You did not include any license information within the OXP, nor is any stated on the individual files. Technically, this means there is no license and makes it illegal for any user to actually download and use to the OXP. May I suggest you decide on a license (most are under...
