Every dockable opening does adhere to automatic docking by default. Simply target the object and press SHIFT-C. This will start the automatic docking sequence, accompanied by the Blue Danube. Just lean back and wait until your computer has docked you. This requires that you have purchased the Docki...

Yes, slowing the dock would work just fine. I was wondering if I could just make every dockable opening adhere to automatic docking, but if I can slow it down for him, I am sure it will work for him as well. So does that require that I need to edit every station and add something to the file, or is ...

Ok, help with a minor cheat

I have been using OOlite for me 5 year old son as a slight pacifier. And he seems to enjoy it more than the Xbox. He does get frustrated because of issues with him docking with stations at times. Is there way to either A.) provide consistant rotation speed, or B.) Set every dock-able item so that if...

This is probably common knowledge, but I'm having pretty good results using Gamepad Companion, to map my analog joystick to keyboard keys. My logitech joystick has a hat switch and enough buttons to configure most in-flight commands right on the stick. Certainly good enough to make me glad I finall...

Ok...

I was syncing my laptop to my server and thought I would go ahead and get rid of my ~/src/Oolite directory. I am getting old, so I of course forget that I had my executable in the src directory. Once I build out my source, is there any make directive that will place the executable and libraries in a...

I am having issues with proper configuration of my joystick. Is there a file with the configuration sit? I figured I could figure out the appropriate values and plug them into the configuration file.

Outstanding job

Would you add a text file so that one can know what they are downloading.

Thanks!

But I still get this when I start up: .:297: element dict: validity error : Element dict content does not follow the DTD, expecting (key , (array | data | date | dict | false | integer | real | string | true))*, got (key key key array key string key string key string ) </dict> ^ .:337: element dict:...

AddOn will not load

I have just build the 64-bit Oolite 1.72.2 and everything seems to be working correctly, except that none of the AddOns will load. I have the directory set correctly ~/.Oolite/AddOns, but when I start and press the shiftkey, I get absolutely nothing. I am wondering if there was conversion since I pu...

64-bit build

Thanks to the directions, I got the 64-bit version of Oolite 1.72.1 working nearly flawlessly. The only issue I seem to be having is that I can't seem to get my AddOn loaded. Is there a way to install system wide? I would rather this be place in /usr/games or some place system wide as opposed to run...

Re: Definitely the latter

Unfortunately, my hands don't work well as they used to, therefore, my ability to jump around the keyboard has been very restricted. Something that locks and follows doesn't mean that there is a dead lock on the target, but it does follow the movement of the target and with minimal keyboard interac...

And, perhaps even more important, the whereabouts of the keyconfig.plist. There is one inside the game, but you'd better leave that untouched. Instead, c&p it into a folder named 'Config' inside your 'AddOns' folder. If it doesn't yet exist, create it. This is the plist you should change. It will o...

Keyboard configuration

I attempted to use the left control key and the left ALT key to handle yaw movement (replacing , and .). I also tried to set the space bar to replace A for laser firing. So far, this has not worked and I am at a loss for what is going wrong. Has anyone been successful with changing their keyboard ke...
