the hot dry weather on the planet iscentral to the story. The worms need dry sand to live in , they make the spice.. the Fremen and their stillsuits to survive in the hostile climate .

ok, lets see if this takes your fancy.... the Lexx is 10,000 M in length according to a chart i have... Name 5 ships from 5 different universes/Authors etc. that are bigger than the Lexx no space stations, so no DS9 or Babylon5 etc... if i cant find it on my chart i will ask for supporting evidence....
