It might be an idea to consider: Display the time needed for the service you request. Refuel, maintenance, new equipment. Usually one is not aware that these things take time, until you start the contract business and learn it the hard way.

Since I have no experience with criminal records (I manage to do my pirate business unseen) - what happens if you try to dock while you are fugitive? As for pirates, if they recognise you as a courier, then they are not interested in you. The more you run as a courier the lower the chance of being attacked by a pirate. Hm.. I don't know. Anything that allows you to get a ship for free where you usually would have to spend months to earn the money necessary, seems like cheating.
