What happens to the player ship homeSystem when the player jumps to another galaxy?

Let's say that the player ship homeSystem is 7 (Lave) in the first galaxy.

So the flag of the player ship is Lave.

Now, the player jumps to the 2nd galaxy.

Does their ship change automatically its flag from (galaxy 1, system 7) to (galaxy 2, system 7)?

The 3D model need to download the whole package first which is not so practical imho. I'm stoopid. :oops: I think a static image would be enough, for example as an url in the manifest file. Viewing ships models in the Expansion pack manager

Would it be possible to view the ships models in rotating 3D in the expansion pack manager?

I understand this is a conveniency, rather than a need, as the player can go and check the oxp content on the internet.
