Re: [Release] Staer9's Shipset

Well, I'm back, and it seems I may have a bit of work to do... The iguana has no weapons defined because it uses two side mounted lasers that each have weapons defined in their own entities, I haven't had a look at the latest Oolite build so I'm guessing it doesn't like my coding. The shipdata is ju...

(especially seeing as the latest version is 2.63a)

Re: New model utilities

I've never used obj2dattexnorm.py, so I can't help with that, but when I made a similar shaped cylindrical thing (that funky fuel station from a while back) it worked fine using just the obj2dattex.py, so try using that and see if the problems remain. (btw, this would also be caused if you made a hi...

Re: Problem with some models imported from 3D Wings in to Oo

Oolite doesn't support transparency and will therefore use full-opacity of whatever colour you have on the texture, if this is black then it will use black. This is often used to advantage by baking maps (specular or illumination normally) onto the alpha channel. if you don't want it to be transpare...

Re: Screenshots

If you arrange the files correctly, you can actually use Wings3D to view the textures on the model. Blender may be able to do that too - never tried but it seems quite a clever program. Blender is indeed able to do that... and you can also configure the custom shaders to veiw in full shaders (so it...

Re: [Release] Staer9's Shipset

@Shipbuilder, please refrain from filling other people threads with massive strings of plists (not to mention the fact that it's in XML which both isn't used by anyone and more importantly isn't used in the oxp's thread that you're posting on) Recently bought the Staer9 Python Class Cruiser.
