Morrigan - force a for sale script possible?
After numerous hours of play (2.4 million honestly earned credits) there’s one ship that I wish I could try: the Morrigan.
While I don’t think that I want to permanently fly it (not enough cargo, esp with several passenger berths) it sure is one of the nicest ships in the oolite universe. (Though the Constrictor-II is really nice too.)
Roaming the galaxies’ TL15 stations I have yet to find one for sale.
Is it possible to make a script to ‘force’ it to show up for sale at a TL15 station?

PS: I wonder if it’s worth the effort. Some of the other “old” ships like the Naga (or Falcon) are not enjoyable to fly... IMHO. Why? Because the rear laser is too obscured by the engine.

You can easily do yourself by editing the shipyard.plist. There you will find
techlevel = 15
chance = 0.90
If you change the techlevel to 1 and the chance to 2.0 all systems will be flooded with the ship

Edit: For complete correct syntax it should be techlevel = 0 (any system) and chance = 1.0. My version is working as well but a bit out of the books.

If you're willing to give the latest trunk version a try, code has been added to allow for scripts to add ships directly to the shipyard of a station. This post has some details and links to the wiki for more detailed details of the details. Wait... that sounded a lot better in my head.

This evening, by chance, I actually found a Vortex for sale. Been shooting System Vessels (Vipers and cloaked Romulan Bird Of Prey) without taking much of a scratch; or at least nothing that the autorepair system can’t fix quickly. In other words... it’s an uber-ship and really not much fun.
She’s not much to look at, some might say her backside is a bit too big... but I like my Boa Clipper.

Out of curiosity, is actually anybody in charge for this OXP now ? It still seems kind of popular and since I already included it in my own WIP I wouldn't mind yo take it over for future support.

I have as described the shipyard.plist edited from the folder "Confi" of the OXP. But without success. Is there anything else to consider?

When restarting the game after the edit, did you hold the shift key down until the spinning Cobra appeared?
